Wild Woods Conservation and Education Centre (WWCEC) is nestled in the heart of beautiful Alberta, Canada. Located northwest of Edmonton, Alberta and surrounded by 80 acres of northern boreal forestry, WWCEC brings wilderness, conservation and education together. Our mission is to educate and build conservationists through hands-on experience and adventure. WWCEC is proudly Mètis owned and operated and is an Indigenous Tourism Alberta destination.
Through our courses and workshops we hope to pass on skills, techniques and information to help build and grow relationships for conservation. We offer courses and workshops year round- from mushroom hunting and identification to DIY birdhouse kits and many more to come.
We encourage and welcome visitors of all ages and hope to embolden the hearts of future conservationists and nature-lovers. Our goal is to create a place where people can enjoy and learn from nature as well as obtain the skills required to survive in it.
