Wild Woods Conservation and Education Centre (WWCEC) is nestled in the heart of beautiful Alberta, Canada. Located northwest of Edmonton, Alberta and surrounded by 80 acres of northern boreal forestry, WWCEC brings wilderness, community and culture together. Our mission is to educate and connect through hands-on experience and presence in nature. WWCEC is proudly Mètis owned and operated and is an Indigenous Tourism Alberta destination.

Through our courses and workshops we hope to pass on skills, techniques, and information to help teach and provide an authentic Indigenous experience. We offer courses and workshops year round- from plant identification, to trapping education.

We encourage and welcome visitors of all ages who will enjoy nature, learn & practice skills the original people of the land lived-and survived-by for centuries.
