About Us

Wild Woods Conservation and Education Centre (WWCEC) is nestled in the heart of beautiful Alberta, Canada. Located northwest of Edmonton, Alberta and surrounded by 80 acres of northern boreal forestry, WWCEC brings wilderness, community, and culture together. Our mission is to educate and connect through hands-on experience and presence in nature. WWCEC is proudly Mètis owned and operated and is an Indigenous Tourism Alberta destination.

Our Story

Seeded from their relationship with the land, husband and wife Jesse and Kendra Dudzic along with parents Wendy and Gary Poseluzny acquired 80 acres of wilderness in May 2020. From that point, they established the Wild Wood Conservation and Education Centre in hopes of encouraging others to reconnect and be present in nature. Their main focus is on community, sustainability, creativity, and preserving Indigenous culture.
